WIP Wednesday: Test knitting fingerless gloves

I have recently been test knitting some fingerless gloves for an Aussie designer whom I met on Ravelry. These gloves are her latest offering, were fairly quick to knit, easy, and look great. As the pattern hasn’t been released yet, I can only show you a teaser picture!

The yarn is Tough Stocking in colourway Nori, a new colour for last year’s Australian Sheep and Wool Show. As you can see, it is a semi-solid deep green (deeper than this photo; it’s over-exposed), with hints of charcoal, emerald and chartreuse. A very versatile green: I already have a second knit lined up with this colour!

If you are interested in test knitting/crocheting, or have a pattern you’d like test knitted/crocheted, I can recommend The Testing Pool on Ravelry (free to join). I think I’ll be lurking there for quite some time 🙂
