Free Pattern Friday again: this time a knitted cowl, and a toy inspired by my recent visit to St Petersburg!
That Nice Stitch Cowl by Susan Ashcroft is a quick and easy knitting pattern. The pattern calls for light fingering/3ply yarn, but you could use any weight yarn you like and adjust the number of stitches/rows accordingly. This cowl is great for using those variegated yarns that are difficult to find a nice pattern for.
After seeing many Matryoshka Dolls whilst at St. Petersburg I couldn’t resist this free pattern. The Matryoshka Nesting Dolls crochet pattern is by Amy Gaines. Bright and colourful, these would be great for big kids and small kids alike. You can personalize the embroidered details, and you could extrapolate the pattern to add larger and larger dolls if you wish.
